The Planning screen is used for building the routes. To find it, please make sure the selected role is Dispatcher and you are on the Planning tab:

This screen consists of four main parts. Vehicles and drivers are shown on the left:

The timeline for each vehicle is shown in the centre:

There is a timescale across the top of the timeline and all planned routes and orders are drawn on the timeline corresponding to that timescale:

The white section shows the availability hours and the gray sections show off-duty hours. You can change the zoom level of the timeline to show more or less detail. You can scroll left and right using the scroll bar at the bottom of the timeline and up and down using the mouse wheel or the scroll bar on the right.

The map at the bottom of the screen displays your distribution centre location, unplanned orders, and planned routes. You can zoom in and out by using your mouse wheel or the plus/minus buttons in the corner. You can panoram the map by dragging it while clicking anywhere outside route lines or pins.

The list on the right displays your unplanned orders:

You can scroll up and down the list to review all orders. Some basic order details are displayed on the cards. You can see more information if you put your mouse over the card:

You can also click on the order reference at the top of the card to bring up the order form with all of the details:

Planned routes will be displayed both on the timeline and the map below:

On the timeline, the routes and orders are positioned against the time scale at the top according to start and end times of each part of the route. The loading at the depot is shown with the darker color, the orders are shown in lighter color, and the darker section at the end of the route is the time it takes for a driver to return back to the depot:

Each order also has an orange section, which is the driving time, and the black section, which is the operation duration, either collecting or delivering on-site:

You will also see green lines indicating driver breaks and a blue line indicating waiting time:

You can get more information about the times planned by Maxoptra if you put your mouse over an allocated order:

Some metrics for each vehicle are shown on the left on the vehicle card. You will find the total distance, total duty time and driving time, the total used capacity, and the number of stops planned. You will also find the total cost of the route. The cost is calculated using the vehicle cost per mile and the driver's cost per hour.

The total distance, time and cost for all of the routes are shown at the top:

If you make any change to the schedule you will see the impact of that change on the KPIs in the brackets:
