Vehicle Checks and New Planning Screen
The new functionality of Vehicle checks (see Vehicle Checks Forms) and the improved version of the Planning Screen are about to be released. We keep working to make them a better functionality, ensuring their further development and enhancement.
In MaxOptra 5.9 we are making another step to make the new functionality available to all MaxOptra users.
If you want to try the new functionality, contact the MaxOptra Support Team at support@maxoptra.com.
Adding “Order task” to the Notifications Tag List
We have added the Order task attribute to the list of tags in the notification templates.
Now you can specify the order task – delivery or collection – when composing your SMS/E-mail notifications to clients.
The resulting SMS/E-mail will contain the order task in its text:
Sending Driver Manifest to Drivers’ E-mails
In Maxoptra 5.9 it is now possible to send driver manifests to drivers by e-mail. When sending run details to drivers, the manifest is sent to the driver’s e-mail at the same time.
For successful e-mail delivery, make sure that:
- driver’s e-mail address is correct (see User parameters and System Roles);
- SMTP settings are correct (see SMTP E-mail (Outgoing emails configuration);
- the “Enable driver notification when order details are sent to mobile device” setting is on (see Notifications).
Other Features and Improvements
1. MaxOptra has implemented an integration with What3Words. If you want to use this integration, contact the MaxOptra Support team to have it enabled for you. After that, the What3Words geocoding format (three random words for each 3x3 meter square) will be used when rendering addresses on UI, via API and csv-import file.
2. The special attributes, called helpers have been added to the POD and Driver Manifest template editor in order to help aggregate different functions. For more details, see Editing POD and Driver Manifest Templates.
