Improvement of the Start of Day Location setting
The Start/End of day location section in the Driver form has been improved to allow drivers to load and unload at their home/other location.
Start of day location settings
Now, when you specify the Start of day address, the following options are displayed in the drop-down of the Visit DC menu:
Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Never (reload at start) | Driver will return to the specified start/end point after each run, never visiting the depot |
| To reload between runs | Driver will return to DC after each run |
| Only with deliveries | Drivers will come to the DC to load the goods before the first delivery if they have at least one delivery order |
End of day location settings
When you specify the End of day address, the following options are displayed in the drop-down of the Visit DC menu:
Option | Description |
|---|---|
| No | Driver will never visiting the depot |
| Only with collections | Drivers will come to the DC to unload in the end of the day if they have at least one collection order |
NOTE
If you enable Never (reload at start) for the start location and Only with collections for the end location at the same time, the following warning message will appear to highlight the conflict:
The driver has "No (Reload at start)" selected for the start location. If the driver has collections, they will return to the start location, not DC.
